This course is aimed at complete beginners and offers an introduction to contemporary dance in an encouraging and laid-back group setting, with opportunities for creative development and exploration of your own movement style. Guided by Sam Vaherlehto, you will explore how different parts of the body can initiate movement and influence the whole body's journey through space. Through contemporary dance exercises, learn how the chest, spine, shoulders, and head work together to generate expressive movement. Move with live music as you explore key contemporary dance skills and gain confidence for your next step.
