Following last year's unforgettable celebration, we're bringing the Inverness Street Bloc Party back this August Bank Holiday Weekend for another incredible day of music, dancing and community in the heart of Camden.
This year we're celebrating Disco House. More than a music genre, disco celebrates the music, fashion and freedom that defined Camden's club culture. Taking place on the eve of Carnival, it honours Camden's tradition of cultural expression and community activism, including the legacy of Claudia Jones, who organised Britain's first Caribbean Carnival at St Pancras Town Hall.
So let's step back to the era of glitterballs, packed dancefloors and the birth of house music, when legendary venues like Camden Palace and the Electric Ballroom made Camden the beating heart of London's nightlife. This August Bank Holiday, that same spirit returns as Inverness Street transforms into a vibrant open-air dancefloor.
Expect feel-good music, family-friendly fun and an atmosphere that brings people of all ages together!
The full line-up will be announced soon - watch this space. 😉
