Join us in celebrating Camden's Black History Month as we honour Somali heritage, strengthen connections across our communities, and showcase the richness, creativity, and diversity of the people who make Camden such a special place. This free community event is a wonderful opportunity to experience and celebrate Somali culture through traditional food, music, storytelling, poetry, and cultural performances. The event will also highlight the history, contributions, and achievements of the Somali community in Camden borough. Whether you come with family, friends, or on your own, everyone of all backgrounds are encouraged to come enjoy a day of culture, community, and connection. You'll have the chance to meet local residents, community organisations, and special guests in a welcoming space that encourages learning, meaningful conversations and connection building.
