'I am as I am. Myself me and that's that.'

Every Tuesday, Jacqueline goes back to her hometown and loyally spends the
day with her father, tidies his home, does his ironing. Then they go to Tesco.
Every Tuesday.

All eyes are on Jacqueline when they go shopping. They know her, you see. Before Jacqueline, her name was something else. A dead name.
And to her father she remains that dead name, despite all appearances to the
contrary.

Told through the eyes of a woman facing the wind of an ever-growing social
and political storm against her kind, Jacqueline must navigate her way
through it to reach her father and hold on to the last family she has left.
Whatever the cost.

A touching, one-person, work-in-progress play about identity, returning home, and the complexity of family and legacy.

Tuesdays At Tesco's

The Etcetera Theatre, above the Oxford Arms, The Etcetera Theatre, 265 Camden High St, London NW1 7BU, UK

"A man who speaks in verse is either trying to sell you something or hide a body."

It's 7pm and rehearsal is finished for the day. A janitor alone on stage finds himself possessed by minor Shakespearean characters unhappy with their lot in the original plays. No longer waiting in the wings, they begin to ask the question: can you achieve true agency when your life has been written already?

"And so I thought my thought was free,
But shackled so, how can it be?"

Understudy No. 5 is a monologue cycle of possession and inversion - the perfect show for clowns, philosophers, and Shakespeare nerds alike. Across one hour, Fifth Folio Theatre's debut production uncovers the stories taking place behind the scenes of the plays we know all too well.

"If a jest be infinite, it hath no end. If it hath no end, there is no time for the laughter to begin. Argal, an infinite jest is entirely unfunny."

"Shakespeare must hand his crown to Conyngham" The Reviews Hub ⭐⭐⭐⭐
"A beautiful play" Arts Review Hub ⭐⭐⭐⭐
"An intelligent, playful and unusually thoughtful encounter with Shakespeare" Theatre Life ⭐⭐⭐⭐

ETCETERA THEATRE, The Etcetera Theatre, 265 Camden High St, London NW1 7BU, UK

'Are we gay Scrooge?'

Meet Adam and Steve. A perfect gay couple. They love each other, love their new house and love voting for Reform UK. While painting and decorating their just-bought paradise, they notice something's off. Loud noises, screams and oat milk cartons popping up. Moving through parrot paintings, Farage-themed Ouija Boards and protest slogans they realise they're not alone.

Something has been woken up and is ready to spread its woke agenda.

Our Ghost Drinks Matcha is a dark comedy that handles the themes of performative politics, codependency and comfortability within marginalized communities.

This play is inspired by the earlier this year released polls that Reform UK is the most-supported party by gay and bisexual men. Within the play we are given a look within two of those gay men and what drives them to their political decisions. Facing their woke ghost they will have to face the ghosts of their past, forced to question their own beliefs and each other's motivations. Are they staying on their path or changing course?

Space Cadet, a new original musical by Isabella Pettite and Nikki Laurence which premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2026. Combining original music, humour and heartfelt storytelling, the show offers an authentic and uplifting exploration of neurodivergent life from the perspective of a neurodivergent performer.

It's impossible to say exactly what to expect from Space Cadet! Literally, the show comprises of
two, let's say quirky, neurodivergent individuals on stage, with their instruments, for an hour telling a story and singing songs... This musical will mean something different to every single audience member - some will find it eye-opening, some will find it validating, some fascinating and some absolutely baffling; but it's guaranteed that the audience be entertained as they go on a journey into a neurodivergent mind, and that the world will be seen in an entirely different way once this show has been experienced!

When the storm comes, where is the way out?

Inspired by documented cases and testimonies, Women in the Storm is a feminist solo performance exploring why escaping domestic abuse can be so difficult.

Blending monologue, physical theatre and documentary material, it follows a fictional woman's journey from love to control, violence and resistance. When she tries to leave, she encounters family expectations, social pressure, financial dependence, barriers to divorce and the struggle to prove abuse.

The performance asks what stands in the way when someone tries to leave safely-because escaping violence should not mean gambling with your life.
